A social work conference, “Current Issues in Tennessee: Human Trafficking and Dual Diagosis,” will be held Tuesday, March 12, in the Scarritt Bennett Center’s Raintree Room.
Speakers at the daylong conference include Ellen Wright-Clayton, M.D., J.D., Craig-Weaver Professor of Pediatrics and co-founder of the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society; Joseph Fanning, Ph.D., assistant professor of Medicine; Kate Chaffin, director of the MSSW Distance Education Program, and Cary Rayson, executive director of the Magdalene residential program.
The conference is part of the Department of Social Work’s annual observance of March as Social Work month, and also part of the month-long celebration of the 85th anniversary of social work at Vanderbilt.
