The Pediatric Speech and Language Clinic at Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center recently held the second annual Augmentative and Alternative Communication summer camp. The camp welcomed 20 children who use picture systems or electronic talkers to communicate. Campers, who ranged in age from 3 to 16, developed communication, social, literacy and play skills in a day camp setting adapted to their needs.
