Wendy Lloyd, BA, LPN, CCRP, senior clinical research quality analyst in the Vanderbilt Coordinating Center, has been recognized by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) for her chapter’s exceptional efforts to provide learning opportunities for clinical research professionals.
The 2019 Chapter Chairperson Recognition Award will be presented to Lloyd and the Greater Nashville SoCRA chapter in September during the society’s annual conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Lloyd, a certified clinical research professional, has supported the clinical research effort at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 2000. Currently she is developing a competency program and coordinates education/training for the Vanderbilt Coordinating Center, which provides comprehensive research support through the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
Lloyd is a longtime member of SoCRA, which provides training, continuing education and a certification program for clinical research professionals. She is a co-founder, former president and current chair of the Greater Nashville SoCRA chapter.
