| There is now a new Durable Medical Equipment (DME) order named “Tube Feeding Supplies.” Clinicians should begin transitioning to this new order rather than the G-tube Supplies order, which will be retired later, pending communication to various users.
The new order contains the same information as the G-tube DME order and contains fields for information that have traditionally been entered in the comment field. The generic DME order will remain in the system for needed supplies other than tube feeding. The Tube Feeding Supply order will be available in eStar 11/8/2023. The date to remove the G-tube DME order is being determined. |
