The fifth annual Health Professions Graduate School Fair will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in the Commodore Ballroom of the Vanderbilt University Student Life Center.
More than 50 institutions representing about 100 programs throughout the country will participate. Programs include medicine (both allopathic and osteopathic), dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, public health, optometry, podiatric medicine, nutrition, physician assistant, physical and occupational therapy, veterinary medicine and other health professions.
“This year will be the largest (fair) we've had,” said Robert Baum, M.D., director of the Health Professions Advisory Office.
The event is designed for anyone interested in continuing education in the health professions, and not just for Vanderbilt undergraduates. It's a great opportunity to talk with recruiters from a variety of programs, Baum said.
