Music City Tennis Invitational brings in funds for the Center for Child Development
The 38th Annual Music City Tennis Invitational (MCTI) raised more than $73,000 for the Center for Child Development at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The money from the event, which was held April 30 and May 1, will help fund services that are not covered by medical insurance for children with developmental disabilities and their families.
“As the only fundraising event that directly benefits the Center for Child Development, this tournament continues to serve as an excellent opportunity to give back to our community,” said Patsy Bradley, co-chair of the Music City Tennis Invitational committee. “Thanks to the contribution of our players, sponsors and donors, we have raised more than $1.2 million to date for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.”
The Center for Child Development provides screening, evaluation and referral services for children who are developmentally delayed, intellectually disabled or suffer from ADHD or autism spectrum disorders.
A Nashville tradition since 1973, MCTI continues to serve others, thanks to generous support from the music industry, business community, sponsors, donors, tennis players, enthusiasts and volunteers.
