VICC’s Roth honored by ASCO
Bruce Roth, M.D., professor of Medicine and Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, has been honored with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Statesman Award.

Recipients are recognized for their extraordinary volunteer service, dedication and commitment to ASCO and have each given 20 years of volunteer service to the cancer society.
“ASCO is a great organization which provides leadership in cancer research and advocacy and I have been privileged to work alongside many other outstanding cancer investigators,” said Roth, Paul V. Hamilton, M.D., and Virginia E. Howd Professor of Urologic Oncology.
Roth and the other recipients of the Statesman Award will be recognized in June during the 46th annual ASCO conference in Chicago.
