Breast Center to host bridal event
Brides searching for the perfect wedding gown can browse through a huge selection of gowns and support a charitable mission at the same time.
The Vanderbilt Breast Center is hosting the Nashville stop of the Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns, Sept. 11-13, at the Nashville Airport Marriott hotel, 600 Marriott Drive. The tour helps raise funds to support the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that grants wishes for patients with advanced breast cancer.
Saturday, Sept. 11, 6-10 p.m., is VIP Night, with $30 bride admission and $15 guest admission. The general sale with free admission is Sunday, Sept. 12, noon – 8 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 13, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Individuals who would like to donate wedding gowns from 2006 or later can bring them to the Breast Center at One Hundred Oaks prior to the event.
