Michael Engel, M.D., and several of his patients, including Jayme Harrison, painted their hands onto a new Hyundai Santa Fe recently.
The car, which is covered in handprints from all over the country, is the symbol of carmaker Hyundai's Hope on Wheels project, which donates funds to support childhood cancer research.
Engel was recently named a 2009 Hyundai Scholar, and will use the accompanying $40,000 grant for his research into acute myeloid leukemia.
