Mini Medical School ready to ring bell on second session

After a strong showing during its first term last fall, Vanderbilt University Medical Center is again opening the doors to its Mini Medical School, an innovative program geared toward teaching major principles of medicine to non-medical people.

The school's second term is open to Vanderbilt faculty and staff and members of the Nashville community, and will run on eight consecutive Monday nights beginning on March 23. Two separate sessions, with a break and refreshments, will be held each night.

The Mini Medical School will meet in 208 Light Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Monday night. The cost for the course is $80 for Nashville community members and $64 for Vanderbilt personnel ‹ a 20 percent discount.
