One lane of Medical Center Drive will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday for the four weeks beginning Aug. 28 so that construction crews can install conduits for the electrical power for the new VUMC tower.
Plate steel will be installed after each night of work so daytime traffic will not be impacted. Traffic officers will be positioned to help direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
