Today’s Dog of the Day is Peanut, submitted by Sarah Obujen of the Endoscopy.GI Lab. “Peanut, the beagle (?) mix. Peanut loves joining us for disc golf on the weekends, likes to sit on the back of the couch and watch everyone go by, and loves to snuggle on a pile of laundry any chance he gets. He’s often more cat-like than dog like, but it makes us love him more!”

Today’s Rabbits of the Day are Cookie and Apricot, submitted by Scott Miller of Neurology. “Cookie (left – 4 years old) and Apricot (right – 2 years old) are our two pet rabbits that were adopted from a rabbit sanctuary. They are both very food motivated with treat biscuits and when they are not lounging they love to spend time sprinting around the living room and throwing baby toys.”
Peanut, Cookie and Apricot were featured in the Aug. 20, 2026, edition of MyVUMC News.
