Today’s Dog of the Day is Whiskey, submitted by Victoria Messick of the Spring Hill Walk-in Clinic. “Whiskey is a Cowboy Corgi. She is 13 months old. She loves to aggravate her fur brother and sister. She loves to go on the water with her Mom and Dad and do some boat riding and basking in the sunshine but not a fan of bath time at all. Her favorite thing to do is bark.”

Today’s Cat of the Day is Marmalade, submitted by Anna Abbondandolo of Acute Care Rehab. “My wife and I adopted our orange tabby, Marmalade, from Critter Cavalry Rescue when he was a 6 months old. He is a snugglepuss and loves to play fetch every day! He’s our little lovebug with full orange cat energy. If Marmalade could speak, he would let you know he is very hungry right now!

Whiskey and Marmalade were featured in the Aug. 25, 2026, edition of MyVUMC News.
