Food study seeks to help employees make healthier choices

When dining in the Medical Center North breakroom or the Simply-to-Go counter at Courtyard Café, Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees can get a little help making informed food choices by picking a color: green, yellow or red.

Grubbs named to Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame

Former Vanderbilt flight nurse Tom Grubbs, R.N., EMT, was inducted into the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame on Nov. 5 for his extraordinary career with Vanderbilt LifeFlight.

Annual lead shielding inspections offered

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences will provide courtesy annual lead shielding inspections designated Tuesdays and every Thursday from mid-January to late May 2017 from 3:30 to approximately 9 p.m.

All for the children

Rascal Flatts visited with patients and families at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on Monday. The country music artists and long-time supporters of Children’s Hospital played an acoustic set and held a meet-and-greet in Seacrest Studios and also made room visits to patients unable to attend the event.
