Faculty and staff with young children can take part in free car seat safety checks this summer, offered by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Kohl's Cares For Kids and Safe Kids of Cumberland Valley. Seats will be checked for proper installation; crucial, since more than 80 percent of seats are installed improperly. Registration is required. To register, call 936-0322.
