Deadline to change ePassword is June 15

To enhance computer system security and comply with federal audit requirements, Vanderbilt is now requiring all employees with a VUnetID to change their ePassword at least once each year.

The deadline to change your ePassword this year is June 15.

Beginning Thursday, April 16, weekly e-mail reminders will be sent to those individuals who still need to change their ePassword. To change an ePassword, visit www.vanderbilt.edu/passwordchange and follow the simple instructions.

One’s ePassword pairs with his or her VUnetID, which grants access to many online systems at Vanderbilt. For faculty and staff, the systems include C2HR, e-mail, the Vanderbilt directory, online library resources, online storage and many other systems within departments and across Vanderbilt.

Information Technology Services (ITS) encourages everyone to change their ePassword right away and not wait until the June 15 deadline.
Password changes sometimes take up to 15 minutes to propagate to all systems.

For questions or assistance, contact local technology support, the ITS Help Desk at 343-3999, or the VUMC Help Desk at 343-HELP.
