Dr. Jeffrey Sonsino recently joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences as an Associate in Ophthalmology.
After graduating from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., with a bachelor’s degree in biology, he received his optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston, and served a cornea/contact lens residency at Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago.
Sonsino’s patient care responsibilities at Vanderbilt involve clinical contact lens, vision rehabilitation, and primary care at the Veteran’s Hospital Administration.
He was awarded a New England College of Optometry Alumni Association Scholarship in 2001.
