Family Day to benefit T.J. Martell Foundation
Fans of “American Idol” runner-up Lauren Alaina will have a chance to watch her perform and have their picture taken with the Mercury Nashville recording artist during the upcoming Family Day indoor entertainment event benefiting the T.J. Martell Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports research at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

In addition to the performance by Alaina, Nashville Predators coach Barry Trotz and country music entertainer Trace Adkins and their families will be honored during the annual Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins Family Day event, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1-4 p.m. at the Curb Event Center on the Belmont University campus.
Costumes are encouraged and activities include an indoor carnival with inflatable games, bungees and trick-or-treat booths. Families can decorate donuts, make ice cream sundaes and create get-well cards for children with cancer.
Tickets are $15 for an individual or $50 for a family of four.

The T.J. Martell Foundation is a music industry foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
