Football game to benefit VCH

Half of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Vanderbilt-Ole Miss football game on Sept. 15 will be donated to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Kix Books, half of country duo Brooks and Dunn and a Children's Hospital board member, and other prominent individuals in Nashville, are challenging the community to help sell game tickets in hopes of attaining a sellout crowd for the game.

The top three sellers and three of their guests will be entertained in the Field Level Hospitality Tent on game day. Those selling 25 or more tickets will receive a tin of Christie Cookies personalized and autographed by Brooks. For sellers of 10 or more tickets, a Vanderbilt prize pack will be awarded.
