“Entertaining with Friends,” the cookbook created by the Friends of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, has won first place in the general cookbook category in USA Book News' 2006 Best Book Awards.
There were more than 1,200 entries to the overall contest.
The cookbook chairs are Peggy Franks, Susan Basel, Claudia McLemore and Terrie Purser of the Friends organization.
