Gabbe, dean of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, serves as one of the book’s editors along with Dr. Jennifer R. Niebyl, professor and head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, Ernst W. Bertner Professor and Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology and professor of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
The 1,435 page textbook progresses from the essentials of practice through frequently encountered problems and then to high-risk obstetrics.
