For more than 25 years, the Vanderbilt Student Research Training Program in Diabetes and Endocrinology has allowed medical students to gain research experience to help them explore career paths as physician scientists.

This summer, 27 medical students from Vanderbilt and other medical schools across the country conducted research in Vanderbilt labs and presented their work at a recent poster symposium.
