Proceeds from a special concert by John Hiatt and Delbert McClinton will benefit the Pediatric AIDS Clinic at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
The concert will be at 8 p.m., Sat., Dec. 13, at the Ryman Auditorium downtown.
Concert funds will help the clinic further enhance the quality of care provided to children infected, or at risk of infection, with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. The funds will help provide transportation, medication and increased nursing care, as well as help ensure advanced medical treatment.

Christa Brown, a fourth-year graduate student in Cell Biology, has received a travel award from the American Society of Cell Biology to attend the organization's annual meeting.
Brown, a member of the laboratory of Dr. Robert J. Coffey Jr., professor of Medicine and Cell Biology, will present a poster about her research at the meeting, which runs from Dec. 13-17 in Washington, D.C.
Brown is studying the biosynthesis and processing of amphiregulin, a growth factor similar to epidermal growth factor.
Vivien Casagrande, Ph.D., professor of Cell Biology and Psychology, was an invited speaker at the University of Tennessee, Memphis Center for Vision Research Inaugural Symposium last month in Memphis.
Casagrande spoke on "Vision on Primates: Progress and Puzzles." The lectureship is part of the Grass Traveling Scientist Program awarded by the Society of Neuroscience.
