Among her athletic accomplishments:
• Made round of 16 at National Women's Tennis Tournament in 1970 and 1971
•Three-time Tennessee State Collegiate singles champion (all colleges and universities)
• Played No. 1 singles and doubles while serving as co-captain of the team
• Tennessee State Collegiate doubles champion 1969
• Semi-finalist Southern Women's Intercollegiate Championship 1971 (singles)
• Won Southern Championship in 1976
• Inducted into Tennessee Tennis Hall of Fame
• Inducted into Metro Nashville Public Schools Hall of Fame
• Represented Vanderbilt in the SEC 75th Anniversary "Story of Character"

Vanderbilt's Hall of Fame Weekend is Sept. 3-5, with the Induction Dinner Friday, Sept. 3, at the Student Life Center. The Class of 2010 will be presented during Saturday's football game with Northwestern.

Other inductees in this third Hall of Fame class are Shan Foster, Ernest “Bucky” Curtis, Heidi Gillingham Jackson, Chris Groer, Frank Lorge, Ed Martin, Jeff Peeples, Grantlin Rice and Will Wolford.
