The Children's Miracle Network and radio station 107.5-FM The River will hold the “River of Hope Radiothon” to benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt March 5-7.
The ninth annual Radiothon will be broadcast live from the Children's Hospital Performance Stage with radio personalities Woody, Jim, Intern Adam, Ryno and Lunchbox, and will feature interviews with current and past patients and families.
The broadcast will be from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Last year, the event raised $270,179.
Children's Hospital is one of the 22 founding hospitals of the Children's Miracle Network.
Formed in 1982, the CMN is the only national philanthropy in which 100 percent of all locally raised money goes directly to local member hospitals.
