Vanderbilt Medical Center faculty and staff are invited to participate in the first Relay for Life, an unusual fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society, to be held on the Vanderbilt campus.
Sponsored by Vanderbilt Students Meeting for the Awareness of Cancer and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, the event will be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday, April 5, on the Vanderbilt track. More than 30 teams are already registered for the relay, in which teams keep at least one member walking or running around the track for the entire 12-hour period.
