Brent Greene and Lewis Head, iron workers with Sentry Steel Service, work on the new helipad atop the roof of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. A crane is being used to lift large steel beams and other material, closing 22nd Avenue between Pierce Avenue and Children's Way until Sept. 19. The helipad should be completed by mid-October.
