To celebrate the end of the academic year, and as a thank you to all University and Medical Center faculty and staff for their commitment, hard work and dedication during the challenges posed by recent Middle Tennessee flooding, all Vanderbilt employees are invited to a special Employee Celebration Picnic on Wednesday, May 26.
The picnic, which will offer grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and dessert, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and again from 5-7:30 p.m., on the Medical Center Plaza, located adjacent to Vanderbilt University Hospital.
Look for your favorite University and Medical Center leaders to serve your meal.
Vanderbilt Health at One Hundred Oaks faculty and staff will also enjoy a hamburger and hot dog cookout in a tent located on the One Hundred Oaks campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A special indoor picnic will be held in The Vanderbilt Clinic's Courtyard Cafe from 11 p.m., May 26, to 1 a.m., May 27, for faculty and staff working overnight on May 26.
