The 65th running of the Iroquois Steeplechase will be held May 13 at Warner Park. Approximately 20,000 people are expected to attend the annual event, known as Nashville's time-honored rite of spring.

All proceeds from the daylong horse racing event will benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Last year, the Steeplechase raised more than $500,000 for Children's Hospital, and has raised more than $7 million since 1981.
