The Dayani Center and Health Plus are offering 18-week weight management workshops. A Thursday noon program began Jan. 16, and a Tuesday 5:30-6:30 p.m. program starts Jan. 28. This program is offered for adults with a body mass index of 40 or less. A BMI calculator is available at www.nhibisupport.com/bmi/.

The fee is $395 for full-time VU employees and $495 for others. The fee includes educational meetings, personal training, a digital pedometer (step counter), all educational material, full use of the Dayani Center exercise facility for four months, plus a one-year follow-up program. Full-time Vanderbilt staff who successfully complete this program may qualify for partial reimbursement of their fee, courtesy of Health Plus. Call 343-2808 for more information.
