The Vanderbilt Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy has exported its system for professional accountability to some 300 hospitals and physician groups around the country. Now it's the turn for Vanderbilt Health's Regional Hospitals.

The pilot project, which is expected to digitize 500,000 slides over three years, aims to open avenues for research, assist with access to whole-slide images for education and clinical meetings (of tumor boards, for example), and facilitate planning for the implementation of digital pathology for diagnostic purposes. 

Pham is among nine current and two former members of the Vanderbilt University faculty who are fellows of the NAI.

Consortium members will identify key health care challenges and codevelop targeted solutions that improve patient outcomes and health care efficiency. 

The new consulting service will offer robust capabilities in understanding the provider journey, prescription journey, data capabilities and best practice sharing.
