Leaders with Jennie Stuart Medical Center (JSMC) and Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) announce a strategic affiliation agreement that formalizes a collaborative relationship between the two institutions while JSMC is also joining the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network.

Henry Paul (Hank) Russell, M.D., assistant professor of Clinical Surgery and a general and thoracic surgeon at Vanderbilt Medical Group in Williamson County since 1986, has been named medical director of Vanderbilt Health – Williamson/Maury. He replaces Pete Powell, M.D., who has held the position since 2004.

Executives from Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) and Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) announced this week that the hospitals have finalized an affiliation agreement that will enhance access to health care services for the residents of Sumner County and the surrounding region.
