Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month program that supports newly licensed RNs as they transition from students to professional nurses.

VUMC Nursing brings wellness initiative to Nashville Public Library’s Hadley Park branch

A group of Vanderbilt nurses recently teamed up with the Hadley Park branch of the Nashville Public Library for a day of new wellness initiatives — including sharing health education information, raising awareness of health risks, and demonstrating healthy oral care habits to the community of North Nashville.

New teleconference program helps give nurses more time to care for patients in person

Through Vanderbilt’s new virtual nurse program, certain tasks such as documentation can be done remotely via a teleconference in the patient’s room, giving nurses at the bedside more time to care for patients in person.
