Meeting the challenge

Members of Vanderbilt’s ALS clinic stepped up and took the ice bucket challenge Wednesday to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Getting soaked for a good cause are, from left, Robin Yawn, R.N., BSN, Christopher Lee, M.D., Peter Donofrio, M.D., Brenda Butka, M.D., and Amanda Peltier, M.D.

The clinic nominated Jeff Balser, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and Dean of the School of Medicine, for the Ice Bucket Challenge. To view him completing the challenge, click here.
