All VUMC employees encouraged to get a COVID-19 booster now

The COVID-19 delta variant continues to circulate widely, and the new omicron variant has already been identified in Nashville. It is important that all Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) employees protect themselves from these variants as quickly and completely as possible.

You are encouraged to get a booster if you have not done so already.

You are eligible for a booster if you received the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series at least 6 months ago or received a single dose of the J&J vaccine at least 2 months ago.

If you haven’t already received your booster, you can go to Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) during hours of operation, 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., or to any location that is convenient, including Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics. You can also use vaccinefinder.org to find a location near you.

If you have received your booster outside of OHC, you can voluntarily report it via the self-report REDCap (https://redcap.vanderbilt.edu/surveys/?s=PJP7RYJ4ML). Once updated in your OHC record, it will also be available in your Health & Wellness Portal at https://hwip.app.vumc.org/hwip/ohc_history.jsp.
