On Saturday, June 25 both northbound lanes of 21st Avenue South near Edgehill Avenue will be closed due to crane work outside Medical Center North from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To allow northbound traffic to continue to have access to 21st Avenue, one southbound lane will become a northbound lane for the duration of the project. For the safety of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, traffic controllers and signs will be onsite to direct traffic.
The sidewalk in front of Medical Center North will also be closed, and pedestrians are encouraged to cross over to the east sidewalk during this work.
For portions of this work the pedestrian bridge may also be closed. Flaggers will be stationed at each side of the bridge to direct pedestrian traffic.
