Medical students collecting food, clothing and toys for Shade Tree Clinic patients on Dec. 9

Dec. 1, 2022, 9:35 AM

The Shade Tree Clinic, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s student-led clinic for uninsured patients, is sponsoring its annual Holiday Drive. Each year, the clinic provides fresh groceries, non-perishable foods, clothes, children’s toys, and other household items to its patients.

On Friday, Dec. 9 from 6:30 a.m.-1 p.m. outside Eskind Biomedical Library, students will staff a donation station to collect non-perishable food items  and new clothing and toys.

Additionally, if you are a VUMC faculty or staff member who would like to donate your $20 holiday grocery coupon to  Shade Tree patients, you can drop it off with the students that day in front of EBL.
