The Shade Tree Clinic, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s student-led clinic for uninsured patients, is hosting its annual holiday drive seeking donations of fresh groceries, nonperishable foods, clothes for children and adults, toys, books and household items for its patients.
On Dec. 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside of Eskind Biomedical Library, Shade Tree volunteers will have a donation station to collect non-perishable food items and new clothing, toys, books, and household items.
Additionally, if you are a VUMC faculty or staff member who would like to donate your $20 holiday gift certificate for patients, you can drop it off during this time. Holiday gift certificates can also be dropped off to the fourth floor of the Eskind Biomedical Library anytime from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec 6 or 7.
An Amazon registry has also been established to allow donations.
