VUMC’s Disability Employee Resource Group (ERG) will present “Tips for Becoming More Inclusive of Interns and Employees with Developmental Disabilities,” at noon on March 23 via Microsoft Teams.
The event is in observance of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and will feature a presentation and Q&A by Project SEARCH at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Project SEARCH instructor Brandon Pflug, and VUMC Senior Director of Patient and Family Engagement Terrell Smith will share information about training modules developed for VUMC departments to become more inclusive of interns and employees with developmental disabilities.
