The Carell family was recently hosted by leaders of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The gathering celebrated the legacy of Monroe Carell Jr. and Ann Scott Carell and reflected on the family’s tremendous impact on children’s health care over many decades. The second and third generations have carried forward a deep passion and commitment to caring for young patients, volunteering and serving the community.

“Our leadership team is truly honored to be stewards of the amazing generosity of the Carell family. While it was very special to recall some of our history, even more meaningful was the opportunity to showcase the impact of the Carell family support over several decades for our patients and families, our faculty and our trainees. We are so grateful for this relationship,” said Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, President of Monroe Carell.
