A downtime impacting the NEC telephones only has been scheduled. This downtime is a result of a power outage in the Medical Center East Telephone Equipment Room.
There is a scheduled, rolling power outage taking place on Saturday, Feb. 24, beginning at midnight and continuing to 6 a.m., and on Sunday, Feb. 25, also from midnight to 6 a.m. This will affect NEC telephones only and will not affect voicemail, Skype for Business, Teams phones, cellular phones including Push to Talk, Mobile Heartbeat phones or Cisco phones. The NEC phones will not be directed to the Red Phone System, but Red Phones are always available to use.

Your NEC phone may not be available sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. on the dates of the outage for 60 to 90 minutes while the electrical work is being executed. - Will all the desk phones in my area be out?
There may be some phones in an area that are down while others will remain active.
