How to submit a Pegasus ticket in 10 seconds or less

In early October, VUMC IT launched a new initiative to reduce the time it takes to submit a Pegasus ticket, specifically with issues involving IT devices and hardware. To do this, VUMC IT developed and continues to distribute QR codes on VUMC printers, desktops, WOW cart workstations, and more.

The QR codes will: 

  • Enable customers to submit Pegasus tickets in 10 seconds or less, with three clicks or less.
  • Allow VUMC IT to manage and address the issue with a specific device.

What to expect: 

The QR codes are displayed on VUMC hardware throughout the enterprise. If a device or machine has issues, follow the steps below.

  1. Open your personal phone’s camera app to get started.
    1. If you are using a Mobile Heartbeat phone, open the QRystal app before opening the camera app.
  2. Point your camera at the QR code on the device to scan it.
  3. Enter in your VUMC ID and password.
  4. Answer three questions related to the device and its issue.
  5. Click submit.

Once an employee clicks submit, the VUMC IT team will receive the ticket that there is an issue and either dispatch to fix it or schedule a time to come repair the machine or device.
