VUMC researchers are recruiting adults between the ages of 40 and 89 who have normal hearing or hearing loss.
During this study, participants will answer questions about hearing and complete three separate hearing tests: one test will be conducted in a sound booth, and two additional tests will be conducted using two apps on an electronic tablet.
There is one required visit to the laboratory which is located at Medical Center East (1215 21st Avenue South). The visit lasts about one hour, and you will receive $25 for completing all three tests. Researchers will be recruiting for this study through May 2025.
