In Basket messages older than 180 days that are visible in the chart but have had no activity in the In Basket will be automatically archived May 4. This update aims to reduce clutter and help you focus on the most current and actionable messages. Affected Clinical Messages: CC Charts, Communication, MHAV Messages, Results, Results Note, Rx Reques Affected Administrative Messages: Appointment Notifications, Failed Fax, Hospital ADT, Letter Queue, New Provider Request, Referral Status Change, Research ADT Event Notifications, Send Page Exclusions: Messages that are not viewable in the chart, certain administrative messages, messages involved in billing and coding, and similar message types will not be archived at this time. These include messages such as: Chart completion, Chart correction, Cosign Chart, Cosign Orders, My open charts, Reminders, Staff messages, VMG coding tasks How to Keep Messages Active: If you have messages older than 180 days that you wish to retain, simply snooze and postpone them using the follow-up activity. This will restart the 180-day process for those messages. Note that if a message is older than 180 days but has recently received a reply, it will still be considered active from the date of the last reply. Accessing Archived Messages: Individual Messages: You can use the Individual Provider Archived Messages Report to view inactive messages that have been archived from your folder. Pool Messages: You can use the Pool Archived Messages Report to view inactive messages that have been archived from pools. Need Help?
