The next installment of VUMC’s On the Horizon town hall series will focus on new federal policy surrounding Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC) and Pathogens of Enhanced Pandemic Potential (PEPP). This session will be hosted by Susan Meyn, Associate Vice President for Research Resources of the Office of Research, with presentations from Eric Skaar, PhD, MPH and Amy Martinez, PhD.
The session will dive into key updates on federal policies, their implications on research, and best practices for navigating the evolving landscape of DURC and PEPP.
Following the presentation there will be a live Q&A session with the presenters and additional experts.
