If employees have not done so already, they need to schedule their migration with the VUMC IT Voice team and begin using Microsoft Teams for all messaging and phone capabilities.
Please be aware that on June 27, employees will be automatically migrated from Microsoft Skype to Microsoft Teams. In addition, employees who are currently using a physical phone will need to begin using a headset. All physical phones currently used with Microsoft Skype will no longer be in service on June 27.
What to expect:
To avoid any work disruptions, it is important for employees to schedule a migration time with the VUMC IT Voice team.
- Contact the Voice Team at 615-421-1611 during the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CDT as soon as possible to schedule your migration.
- Watch training videos on how to use Microsoft Teams on the VUMC Microsoft Teams website.
- Review important FAQs and other materials found on the VUMC Microsoft Teams website.
