Today’s Dog of the Day is Chili, submitted by Addison Gardner of Pediatric Spiritual Care. “Chili was found at the bottom of Bee Mountain in Terlingua, Texas. My grandfather moved to Terlingua (a desert town just outside Big Bend National Park) in the early 80s and built a home at the base of Bee Mountain, where Chili was born almost 40 years later! Chili’s name is inspired by the ‘Chili Pepper Cafe’ down the road from my grandfather’s home, where he often took me and my family for dinners. In this photo, you can see Chili in his natural element of goofiness as he painted the pages of my book with mud in hopes to get my attention (it obviously worked).”

Today’s Cats of the Day are Melvin and Tilly, submitted by Pam Fleckenstein of VICC. “Melvin and Tilly are both rescues.”
Chili and Melvin and Tilly were featured in the edition of MyVUMC News.
