Today’s Cat of the Day is Tipsy, submitted by Christy Nichols of the Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimers Center. “Tipsy is a special-needs rescue kitty with a neurological condition that inspired her name. She’s also missing a back foot and is deaf—but none of that slows her down. Tipsy embraces life with endless playfulness and joy.”

Today’s Dog of the Day is Bando, submitted by Tina Burks of Orthopaedics. “Bando is a mixed breed chocolate lab/pit bull. He is 8 years old and still loves zoomies on occasion. He steals the football and won’t give it back.”
Tipsy and Bando were featured in the Aug. 6, 2026, edition of MyVUMC News.
