Today’s first Cat of the Day is Rusty, submitted by Taylor McGee of Kidney Transplant. “Rusty is a typical orange cat who turned 16 in August but still acts like he is a kitty and gets the zoomies often!“
Today’s second Cat of the Day is Knives, submitted by Taylor Hill of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. “Knives was our first foster failure. Don’t let her name fool you. She has the cutest high-pitched meow and loves to use it all the time — especially if mom and dad are in the kitchen or when she needs your attention in the least ideal space (see picture!). She loves ANYONE be it a stranger or someone she’s known for years. She also loves cuddles, catnip, her multiple scratching posts, and when mom occasionally turns on Cat TV on Youtube. If you can’t find her in anyone’s lap, she’ll probably be lounging on the stack of giant bean bag chairs in our game room, or sunning at the window our desks. Our favorite thing about her is when she comes up to greet us when we come home. She immediately flops down on the ground asking for belly rubs and love. She has been the perfect addition to our little family!”
