Last week the BioVU Operations Oversight Board celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the launching of BioVU, Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s massive biobank. With more than 232,000 samples from different individuals stored to date and an average of 475 new samples added weekly, BioVU is the world’s largest collection of DNA and other biological materials stored at a single site.
